West Stow Lake....

With many thanks to Mr Khan of Ely Mobile Solutions my camera is now repaired, and therefore a little spin out to West Stow Lake was called for, with newly repaired camera in hand.....

"Despite its natural appearance, the lake is actually a former gravel pit which was allowed to flood once the minerals had been extracted in the late 1970's.  The 12 acre lake has since matured and now supports a wide range of wildlife. It forms part of the West Stow Heath."  Source, information board on site.
