A lovely stay in Compton Bishop, in beautiful Somerset, and later photos in Somerset
The second day of our trip my camera gave up the ghost as the on/off switch decided it had worked too hard over the years, so my photos are thin on the ground this trip (and some would say "thank goodness for small mercies!").....
The cottage we stayed in, called 'Crooks', (Dad would have said "That's appropriate!"), is at the foot of Crook's Peak, the highest peak in the Mendips....
