The Peddar's Way from Sparrow Hill....

The 46 mile ancient long-distance footpath in Norfolk..... it has been suggested that it wasn't created by the Romans but was an ancient trackway, a branch or extension of the Icknield Way used and remodelled by the Romans.  It starts in Knettishall Heath in Suffolk and links with the Norfolk Coast Path at Holme-next-the-Sea....

What a lovely ancient hiking trail! Sorry, I of course mean.. Roman road. Well, they had horses back then, didnĀ“t they? Not self-driving cars with Sat Nav.. I am not sure all development is to the benefit of mankind..
Thanks for interesting photos and info as always Cindy!

but interesting old trees. Must be a great place for walking or horse back riding. Wouldn't want to see any motors in there.
