A trip to Alicante, Spain this week....

In the Archaeological Museum (the artwork on the walls was done by the British Museum, the curator proudly told us).

The same colour Roman glass as exhibited in the Saffron Walden museum

From the Castillo Santa Barbara

Another walk around the old part of Alicante. This little chap has been eating too many Doggie Doughnuts!

Hermita de Santa Cruz, built in the 1600's

We took the tram to El Campello. The Spanish public transport system puts ours to shame.

Everything to make the English folks in Spain feel right at home ... it's very sad!

A good job Pixie wasn't there to see this sign, she would have been very upset!

To sample the local food and drink is a must .....

Love all the photos. The beach photos with the palm tree and sun shining through it is fantastic. I really like the dasies. Look like the African dasies I can raise here. Someday maybe a trip like this for me -----------

Hola!
Hablo un poco English so here are a few words regarding your gorgeous Alicante photos. Your travel photos have such a high quality that they should be for the world to see, so I certainly am privileged! You have an open eye for everything and know how to compose interesting photos. I study your photos again and again and feel I take part of your trips. Your friends are lucky to have you as a friend Cindy!!!
