Hi Pete, yes that's Bridge End Gardens in Saffron Walden (you can access it via an alleyway in Castle Street) and the Castle ruins are on the museum grounds ... a lovely, lovely place is Saffron Walden. There's an exhibition on Saturday 11th June on the history of houses in Castle Street if you're interested (I think it's in the Town Hall). Cindy

Oxburgh is worth a visit. The gardens aren't amazing but combined with a trip around the house makes for a nice visit. There are some estate walks as well.

The cake in the House Team Room was nice :D
